Yesterday we held our Annual Chapter Elections and Meetings. Shauna Huston was nominated and voted in to fill the vacant board position. Korey Lowder was voted in as President, Matt Fankhauser was voted in as Vice-President, Melissa Wood as voted in as Treasurer and Shauna Huston was voted in as Program Chair.
As a chapter we want to thank Scott Mecham for serving as President this past year and his service on the Board over the last four years.
Our UALA March lunch meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the offices of Durham Jones & Pinegar, 111 East Broadway, Suite 900 beginning at 12:30 p.m. This months topic is Diversity. Lois Baar and Charlotte Miller presenting on this topic.

Welcome to 2010. It is a new year and time to get back to some great education. This months meeting will be held at the offices of Dorsey & Whitney, located in the Kearns Building, 136 South Main Street, 9th Floor on Tuesday, January 19th at 12:30 p.m. Our meeting this month will provide an overview on the LEED certification process and some tips and resources for developing and implementing a “Green” initiative for your firm. Our presenters of this program are Aaron Jones of CBRE and Joe Smith and Kelly Morgan of Method Studio Architects.
